“I was told this is the best restaurant for the Banh Mi, and yes, that is spot on. I travel around Brisbane seeking the perfect Banh Mi and I found it. I was greeted by the most charming sweet Vietnamese ladies who delivered service with a smile. I ordered the Char Siu Pork Banh Mi without dairy. It was delivered to my table in less than 5 minutes. The warm crispy roll, packed full of Siu pork, a sweet, but slightly chilli taste sung tunes in my mouth. The salads so fresh they could have been freshly picked this morning.”

The shop
A family kitchen on Rowe Street.
An Kitchen is a family run shop in the middle of Caboolture, and the people behind the counter are the ones cooking your food. Customers mention the welcome about as often as they mention the bánh mì, which tells you most of what you need to know.
Everything is made to order. Rolls get built when you ask for them so the baguette is still warm and the salad is still crisp. Broth goes on in the morning. If you want chilli, say so, and there are sauces on the table if you want more.
It is a small room, clean and bright, with the full menu up on the board. Come in, have a look, take your time.
